= Not a good thing!

Just a couple cute pictures of Asher I took him to the big water dam here at the Lake where we live the other day.

Asher is infamously known for being scared of water. But it was a scorching hot day, and I needed the cool breeze just as much if not more than Asher did. He actually seemed to enjoy himself, and I snapped a few pictures of him in the water.

In Africa, Nathan would try and coax him into cool ponds during rainy season. Asher would have none of it and would flatten himself and dig his paws into the ground. He would whine and cry and make such a fuss that anyone walking by would think we were abusing him. We’ve tried putting him into the water with us but he immediately jumps out. I guess water just isn’t his thing. But I was a proud mom when he got his feet in

And on a side note, Nathan and I are celebrating our 3-year wedding anniversary tonight at this restaurant. I’m wearing a cute dress Pics to come! Have a good day…

I went to the movies last night with Jen and Regina and had a great time.  We went to Cinebarre, a movie theater that serves food while you watch.  I had never been to a cinema like that before and loved it.  We definitely checked out the menu beforehand to make sure there was something yummy to eat and chose the Braveheart pizza and chips and salsa and queso.  It was actually really good food.  I was impressed!  Plus it was a fun twist on the usual experience of going out to see a movie.   Everyone seemed really happy and chatting was allowed and seemed to go with the atmosphere.  I hope to go back again soon, especially for $5 Tuesdays.

But in the meantime am off to work again.  In order to cheer myself and you as well, I’ll leave you with a few pictures of last weekend.  When I made the move to the new blog, unfortunately that post was lost.  But the pictures remain, so enjoy.  Hope you have a great day!
